This is some person's blog post. And it doesn't even have any facts to back up its claim.
1- It's from a blog. And this blog doesn't even have any links to these "sources" it claims.
2- How can sales be dropping if the ps3 is already on pace to sell more than they have previous years?
Fellas, if you guys want to find BS news with no facts to back up their claims, At least make sure it's not a blog.
Just because it doesn't say "blogspot" or something of the sort doesn't mean it's not a blog
From now on, I don'...
First off, the game is about 50/50 in terms of movie to gameplay ratio.
Second, the MGS series has ALWAYS been 50/50 in that regard.
This is just people's way of moaning and crying JUST because it's a ps3 exclusive. Why wasn't there any complaining about MANY of the other games this generation that were short? NVM, I'll answer my own question. It's because THIS one is ONLY on ps3.
But what the complainers seem to neglect and/or not realize is that they a...
....when it was reported the game sold 1.3 million on day 1. That's like saying after the first day virtually everyone stopped buying the game.
Not even mediocre games have such a negative effect THAT quickly.
Next time, people should stop using vgchartz as the word of God.
For all we know it MIGHT or MIGHT not be him. It's not like the guy uses just one account. And it's not like he waits for his bubbles to get low before using other accounts to replenish his bubbles either.
Besides, who gives a damn. Only and "idiot" would care about crap like that since you never know who is who over the net in the first place. Hell, for all we know, YOU might be Pog.
I knew he couldn't provide such proof since no such proof can possibly exist.
The original xbox wasn't even available at the time. Yet he sat here and said MS was working on a HOME like simulation BEFORE the orignal playstation was out.
Someone needs to have their facts straight. Especially when they state such nonsense WITHOUT and sort of proof to back up said theory
Do you have proof of this?
Edit- I love n4g. All you do is ask for proof or verification and you get disagrees.
Selling each game based on each individual hero would be EXTREMELY expensive. Not to mention they'd lose money because only certain characters version of the game would be bought while others will just sit in stores, never to be bought
This is the same combination of cutscene and gameplay the MGS series ALWAYS had.
Even when sony does something good, in Kotaku's eyes, it's wrong.
And yes, they will try to nitpick LBP, FF13, and FF13 versus as well. Just like they're doing now.
Metal Gear Solid as ALWAYS had these long cut scenes. So what, you can beat MGS 4 in about 7-8 hours if you minus the cut scenes. But guess what, you can beat Mgs1, 2, and 3 in that same amount of time if you minus those cut scenes too. That never stopped people from loving both the GAMEPLAY and the STORY.
Why complain about this NOW when the series has ALWAYS been like this?
Look, there is more than enough gameplay in the game to keep you entertained. And as for the cut scenes, Many Metal Gear veteran will tell you those cut scenes are VERY important. The only cut scenes that were longer than they should have been was when you first met Drebin and the briefing. Other than that, the cut scenes were fine. And on a side note, the scenes are GREAT. So I really don't understand why Kotaku is griping.
Kotaku acts as if the cut scenes take away from the gam...
To be honest, plenty of people have a dislike of GTA 4. And that includes the media.
But this game gets the same treatment that Halo, Gears, Metal Gear, and Final Fantasy gets. Meaning that even if they feel it's a bad game, They don't want to be the ones to outright say it.
For if they do, they risk critical backlash
First off, let me just say that all the contenders are good games and each as its importance in the industry.
However, LBP is set apart for two distinct reasons
1- it's not a sequel. Gears 2, GTA 4, MGS 4, Resistance 2, Fable 2. We've seen each of these games at least once already. So we also know each games formula for the most part. So even with the improved gameplay and graphics, the "wow" factor is lessened due to the fact that we are already familiar w...
Bubbles for you. Only a true comic collector would realize that. Marvel truly does have a higher human factor to it. They deal with adultish situations in their books so much more than DC does
@avacadosnorkel
Marvel consists of MANY more characters than just mutants.
Some upset xbox fan goes and posts his crying and whining at neogaf. Smart plan to be honest because most of neogaf's stuff is credited as news here for the most part.
But it was stupid for some n4g visitor to go and try to get his b!tching heard by going through the one forum that is for the most part accepted here.
I wonder if I did this same BS in 2006 and 2007 about the over population of xbox fans would it have been acceptable?
In fact, I think I'l...
Don't mind Mart. He's just one of the jealous ones from the "other" system. I can't wait to see him complain about "ps3 people going to 360 articles" like he normally does yet he does crap like this.
That was kinda funny though, implying that he's a free worker for MS. Rude. But comedy anyway
And just the way you say America made many things, they also STOLE many idea. Many of which were stolen from the African-Americans and Indians for that matter.
If you weren't such a simpleton you'd know that
For the record, I don't think I could afford my condo "flipping burgers".
I don't make "big accusations". I state big FACTS. Why don't you read up on your country's history. See, I live in America. And I know damn well what was ma...
Sadly, that kinda IS the American way. Let someone else do the work, then steal their idea and get rich of someone else work
Now I'm really amped about 2.40.
Thou art want-eth Now-eth
Edit-Dudes, I know it's more than likely fake. But still. Let me have my moment lol
Um no
First off, gamechip.com is actually a blog site. The only reason it doesn't look like a blog is because they bought their own domain.
Second, why don't you take a look at the year of that articles source. The writer of the blog post tries to take news from 2006 and tries to pass it off as 2008. And since it tries to state this nonsense as 2008, that not only makes it spam, but also a blatant lie.
Why don't you use common sense before you try to say...
